Oikeustieteitä, teologiaa, kasvatustieteitä – täydennyksiä Oxford University Pressin aineistoihin | Law, theology, education – additions to e-resources from Oxford University Press

Itä-Suomen yliopiston käyttöön aiemmin hankittuja Oxford Handbooks Onlinen aihekokoelmia on täydennetty vuonna 2017 julkaistulla sisällöllä. Täydennetyt kokoelmat ovat: Business & Management, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Economics & Finance, Linguistics, Literature, Political Science ja Psychology.

Kokonaan uusina on hankittu oikeustieteiden ja teologian aihekokoelmat (suluissa kirjanimekkeiden lukumäärä):

Kokoelmiin sisältyvät kokonaisuudessaan ilmestyneet teosnimekkeet on luetteloitu UEF-Finnaan. Näiden ohella luettavissa ovat valmiit yksittäiset artikkelit keskeneräisistä teoksista.

Oxford Handbooksin lisäksi täydennystä on hankittu Oxford Bibliographies -palveluun. Aiemmin lisensoitujen aihealueiden rinnalla käytössä on nyt myös kasvatustieteiden osio Education.

Previously acquired subject areas in the Oxford Handbooks Online have been supplemented with titles published in 2017. The subject areas in question are Business & Management, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Economics & Finance, Linguistics, Literature, Political Science, and Psychology.

In addition, two entirely new subject areas have been acquired to the collections (the number of book titles in brackets):

You can find the handbooks that have been published in their entirety from the UEF Finna. Furthermore, in the Oxford Handbooks Online service you can access the completed articles from the unpublished handbooks.

Besides the Oxford Handbooks, we have also acquired an addition to the Oxford Bibliographies service. In addition to the subject areas acquired earlier we now have access to the subject area of Education as well.

Lääketieteen erikoisalojen taskukäsikirjoja | Oxford Specialist Handbooks

Kirjaston kokoelmiin on hankittu yli 50 lääketieteellistä Oxford Specialist Handbooks -sarjan e-kirjaa. Teokset ovat mm. anestesiologian ja tehohoidon, kardiologian, neurologian, psykiatrian ja kirurgian erikoisaloilta.  Käsikirjoissa on selkeää, tiivistettyä tietoa erikoisalojen käytännöistä sekä vinkkejä ja tapaustutkimuksia kliinisen työn tueksi.

Kokoelman kirjoilla on kirjakohtainen yhden yhtäaikaisen käyttäjän lisenssi. Jos kirja on jo jonkun muun käytössä, palaa siihen myöhemmin. Vinkki: lisää kiinnostavat e-kirjat UEF-Finnassa omalle suosikkilistalle, jotta ne on helppo löytää myöhemmin.

Over 50 titles of the Oxford Specialist Handbooks series have been added to the library collections. Oxford Specialist Handbooks is a collection of comprehensive pocket guides to difficult and challenging areas of medical and surgical practice.

Each title is designed to give an overview of clearly defined procedures, skills, guidelines and technologies that is needed to successfully train or work in medical and surgical sub-specialties. Oxford Specialist Handbooks also provide practical tips and case studies to supplement hands-on experience.

Have a look at the list of all the books in UEF Finna or just enter the Oxford Medicine Online service.

NB! The handbooks are licenced for one user per time. If the book you are trying to read, is currently accessed by someone else, try again later. Tip: Add interesting ebooks to your favourites in UEF Finna so you can easily locate them later.

Elektronisia hakuteoksia monilta aloilta / eReference Books from different disciplines

Kirjasto on hankkinut kokoelmiinsa taas lukuisia sähköisiä ensyklopedioita ja käsikirjoja monilta tieteenaloilta. E-hakuteokset on hankittu Wileyltä ja SAGElta, ja suoraan kustantajilta hankittuina niillä on rajaton yhtäaikaisten käyttäjien määrä. Erilliset lukuohjelmat voit unohtaa: kaikki ovat käytettävissä suoraan nettiselaimessa. Lista hakuteoksista suorine linkkeineen on alla. Hankitut teokset löytyvät myös Josku-tietokannasta.

The library has acquired several electronic encyclopedias and handbooks from different disciplines. The e-reference books have been acquired directly from the publishers Wiley and SAGE and thus have an unlimited concurrent user access. In addition, you do not need to worry about any separate reader application: you can read all of them in the web browser. The list of e-reference books with links is below. You can find the acquired books from the Josku database.

You can find more reference books from other publishers as well by searching in the Josku database as in the examples above. You can also use a term that describes the subject matter as the keyword.
