Yliopistolaisten käyttöön hankittu laaja e-kirjapalvelu Ebrary siirtyy uuteen osoitteeseen keskiviikkoiltana 25.1. Samalla sen nimeksi tulee Ebook Central. Palvelun käyttöliittymään ei tule mainittavia toiminnallisia muutoksia, mutta sen ulkoasu tulee jonkin verran muuttumaan. Vanhoista e-kirjaosoitteista on uudelleenohjaus uusiin osoitteisiin, mutta mahdolliset selaimeen tallentamasi pikalinkit sinun kannattaa vaihtaa poimimalla ne muutoksen jälkeen UEF-Finna-hakupalvelusta.
Ebraryn omaan kirjahyllyyn tallentamasi e-kirjat merkintöineen voit siirtää Ebook Centralin kirjahyllyyn. Ebook Central tarjoaa siirtomahdollisuutta, kun kirjaudut omalle käyttäjätilillesi Ebook Centralissa ja klikkaat Bookshelf-välilehteä. Lue lisää!
Mikäli olet ladannut Ebrarysta e-kirjoja lukuohjelmaan ennen siirtymistä, säilyvät ne lukuohjelmassa edelleen luettavissa niin kauan kuin laina-aikaa on jäljellä.
Ebraryn / Ebook Centralin e-kirjojen käytössä saattaa ilmetä katkoksia sekä keskiviikkona 25.1. että torstaina 26.1.

Ebrary-/Ebook Central -palvelu sisältää noin 150 000 e-kirjaa monilta tieteenaloilta. Kaikkien kirjojen tiedot ja linkit itse kirjoihin löydät UEF-Finna-hakupalvelusta. Kaikki e-kirjat on luettavissa selaimessa, ja suurin osa niistä on myös ladattavissa lukuohjelmaan offline-käyttöä varten. Kirjat saat käyttöösi yliopiston verkon ulkopuolelta kirjauduttuasi ensin UEF-Finnaan yliopiston käyttäjätunnuksilla.

The e-book service Ebrary acquired for the use of the university staff and students, will be migrated to a new web address on Wednesday evening, 25th of January. At the same time, the name of the service will be changed to Ebook Central. No remarkable functional changes will occur in the user interface, but some minor visual alterations can be noticed. The old e-book addresses of the Ebrary will be redirected to the new ones. However, it is recommended that you replace your own favourite links of Ebrary to new links on a web browser after the migration. New links can be picked up from the search service UEF Finna.
You will be given the option to have your own personal Ebrary bookshelf contents copied to Ebook Central. This option is displayed when you sign in to your Ebook Central account and click the Bookshelf tab. Read more!
If you have downloaded e-books to the reading programme before the migration, those titles will remain downloaded and available until the end of the loan period.
Some maintenance breaks with the Ebrary / Ebook Central service can take place on both Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause!
Ebrary / Ebook Central is a wide multidisciplinary e-book collection which includes about 150,000 e-book titles. You can find links to e-book titles on the UEF Finna. All e-books can be read on a web browser, and most of them can be downloaded to the reading programme to be read offline. In order to use e-books outside of the university network, please, log in to UEF Finna with your personal university credentials.
