Formation of SuLLe research group

We founded the research group because we share an interest in studying and supporting learning, participation, and well-being. We examine these themes broadly across different stages of the life course and in various environments, covering both formal and non-/informal learning settings. Our research interest lies in supporting everyone’s learning, participation, and well-being, with particular attention to individuals who need more support due to disability, learning difficulties, illness, or challenging life circumstances. Our aim is to strengthen equal opportunities for learning and participation, and to enhance the well-being of all through research and development activities.

In the future, we will update the research group’s website with information about publications, presentations, research visits, research projects, network meetings, and other activities of the group. For more information about the research group, please contact Assistant Professor Kaisa Pihlainen.
