Laboratory services
The School of Forest Sciences provides a broad range of laboratory services to external clients, with facilities located on the Joensuu campus. The laboratory specializes in chemical, physical, and physiological analyses related to soil, plants, and wood materials.
Services include studies on forest nutrient cycling, tree nutrient dynamics, soil properties (biological, chemical, and physical), organic compounds in trees, wood material properties, and tree frost resistance. A teaching laboratory is also available as part of the facility, supporting both research and educational activities. Analyses and measurements can be conducted on request, tailored to client needs.
