Our consortium consists of 5 universities from Europe covering Northern (Finland and Norway), Southwestern (Spain),And Southeastern (Bulgaria, Serbia) regions.
University of Eastern Finland
The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) is one of the largest universities in Finland. As a multidisciplinary university, UEF trains experts for the various sectors of society and seeks solutions to global challenges through multidisciplinary research and education. The University of Eastern Finland has been developing a systematic utilization of learning analytics in its learning and teaching activities. This research and development work has been purely multidisciplinary, taking into account all stakeholders of the analytics process.
Universidad de Léon
The Universidad de Léon is an active public HEI showing great interest towards international education since its foundation in 1979. Its two campuses are located in the cities of León and Ponferrada, in the northwest quadrant of the Iberian Peninsula. ULE serves a population of around 12.000 students with 38 undergraduate degrees, 30 graduate degrees and 14 doctoral programs offered by 26 Departments in 13 Faculties and 125 research groups. ULE has a vast experience in two of the main topics of this project eLearning and Learning Analytics. ULE has been promoting eLearning and data analysis for a long time through different actions.
Belgrade Metropolitan University (BMU)
Belgrade Metropolitan University (BMU) aims to become innovative and entrepreneurial University. Its role is not only to provide education and research missions, but also the third mission: support of entrepreneurship of its students and their faculties by developing new ideas into innovative products, especially in area of IT. BMU has diverse experience in developing and implementing different teaching and learning methods. All teaching staff at BMU participates in developing teaching content for their classes.
Sofia University
Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is the first school of higher education in Bulgaria, founded in 1888. It has 16 faculties offering in total 96 Bachelor degree programmes, 294 Master’s Degree programmes, and PhD programmes in 150 Accredited Scientific Majors, 3 independent departments, more than 18 specialised scientific centers and laboratories in various disciplines. Centre of Information Society Technologies (CIST) is experienced in initiatives and projects linked to education and training, ICT in education and innovative learning methods.
Bergen University
The University of Bergen (UiB) is a young, modern university with about 17,000 students and 3,200 faculty and staff, making it a medium-sized European University, with the main campus in the centre of Bergen. UiB has seven faculties and offers about 200 study programs at Bachelor and Master levels, and 30 MA degrees are fully taught in English.
