Sari Havu-Nuutinen holds a PhD in Education and is a Professor of Education, specializing in early years education. She works as a head of School of Applied Educational Science and Teacher Education, where she is actively involved in various educational initiatives. This includes contributions to minor studies in pre-primary education, an international master’s degree program, and doctoral studies in education. With nearly 30 years of experience in teacher education in Finland, Havu-Nuutinen has played a significant role in curriculum development in teacher education as well as in basic education. Her international collaborative research focuses on multidimensionally to questions of teaching and learning. She has actively participated in science education research and teacher education developmental projects internationally.

Cloneria Nyambali Jatileni is a doctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland and a schoolteacher within Namibia’s Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture. She teaches a diverse array of subjects such as ICT, information communication, mathematics, quantitative research methods, and educational psychology. Jatileni holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Eastern Finland, a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Education from the university of Namibia, and a Certificate in Transformational Leadership from the African Leadership Institute. Her research focuses on integrating ICT tools into pedagogy, particularly in mathematics and science. She is active in collaborative research that promotes teacher education development. As a Global Innovation Network for Teaching and Learning (GINTL) Africa project researcher, she has facilitated collaborations between Southern African Universities, UEF, and the University of Turku in the field of education.

Sakaria M. Iipinge is an Associate Professor of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Studies in the School of Education at the University of Namibia. He has served in several management positions at university level such as Head of Department, Campus Director, and Assistant Pro Vice Chancellor. He obtained his LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from the University of Namibia, BA (Education) at Wartburg College, USA and MS at Iowa State University, USA and PhD at the University of Namibia, Namibia. Currently, his research focuses on teacher professional development, curriculum and assessment reforms and strategies, ICT integration in teacher education and curriculum for sustainable development. He also participated in both local and international funded projects.

Eveline Omagano Anyolo is a senior lecturer at the University of Namibia, Hifikepunye Pohamba Campus, in the Department of Intermediate and Vocational Education. She holds a PhD in Educational Studies from the University of Eastern Finland, Finland, a Masters Degree in Environmental Education from Rhodes University, South Africa and an Honours Degree in Education for the University of South Africa, South Africa. Currently Dr. Anyolo teaches Social Studies Education and Education for Sustainability modules to the undergraduate student teachers. She has also been involved in national and international funded projects. Her research interests are in Social Studies Education, Geography Education, Environmental Education (EE) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

Lydia Amakali is the Lecturer in the faculty of Education, department of Early Childhood Education and Care at the University of Namibia. She holds various qualifications in Education for young children including a Masters in Primary Education from University of Eastern Finland and a Masters in Curriculum Studies from the University of South Africa. Currently, teaching modules such as Literacy Development, Namibian languages for Pre and junior primary teachers and Religious and Moral Education. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Science and Mathematics) from the Universtiy of Namibia and the University of South Africa, Master of Education in (Science and Mathematics) from the Univesrity of Namibia, A PhD from Stellenbosch University. Shiwana has served the University of Namibia for 20 years and has served as a Head of Mathematics and Science Education Department. Currently he is serving as the Coordinator for Teaching Practicum. Shiwana has interest in Researching in various areas of Education (particularly Mathematics Education). He possesses ample expertise in Rural Education, and has participated in internationally funded projects.

Dr. Rehema Mwakabenga is the senior lecturer in the Faculty of Education at Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), Tanzania. She holds a PhD in Teacher Education from Massey University, New Zealand. She participated in the Post-doctoral studies at Michigan State University, in the United States to stregthen her research skills and collaboration with African scholars and beyond. Her research interest is in teacher education, with a special focus on professional development, curriculum development, and innovative pedagogy for classroom practices. Apart from teaching her courses, Mwakabenga has been facilitating training on Teaching Methodology in various Higher learning Institutions. Apart from teaching, Mwakabenga has been involved in reviewing and designing curriculum programs at school and university levels. She has also been involved in various projects and consultancies at the national and international levels.

Currently, he is the college head of quality assurance in Teaching and Learning and Coordinator of Research at the Department of Physics, Mathematics, and Informatics. Joseph Njiku is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies of the Dar es Salaam University College of Education.
