The tutorial covers the licensed and customized information sources available in UEF. General principles of information searching are useful to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outline of the material:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1096\" height=\"413\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uef.fi\/ueflibraryscienceforestry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2017\/06\/outline.png\" alt=\"Text: How to figure out proper search terms and some technical issues using them. How to combine terms into queries in databases. What sources to use and some examples. How to deal with the results and where to find the full-texts.\" class=\"wp-image-430\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, there is a introductory text about scientific publishing in general at the beginning of the tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The material consists of text, examples and screen captures of different databases and searching details. There are some links to videos by external producers, too.
