Truncation: *; for protect, protection and conserved, conservation. Phrases need quotation marks. You need to truncate the terms enclosed in quotation marks in order to get the plurals of terms. Although plurals of plain terms are usually found automatically, the system might not recognise some uncommon terms, like fungivore, so truncation is needed anyway. Their core is the same: <strong>all have the most important key publications<\/strong>. The difference is, <strong>what else<\/strong> there is available. Try and find your favourite!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Subject specific databases<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These cover the topic more detailed way and usually contain a broader insight into a subject. However, their <span lang=\"en\">cross-disciplinary<\/span> coverage might be limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There is no subject specific database for physics or forestry or biology available in UEF Library.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chemistry: <a href=\"https:\/\/primo.uef.fi\/permalink\/358FIN_UOEF\/1jnohnf\/alma9911699443705966&amp;lang=eng\">SciFinder-n<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SciFinder is an exceptional search engine compared with others listed at this page: the search rules are rather unique. However, you can choose other kinds of result sets as well. 2. Advanced search is useful, if you want to target you search terms to a specific fields or you wish to use alternative terms (OR-operations) defined by yourself in your search. 3. The search history can be seen at the bottom of the page. The history is saved automatically, since you can use SciFinder only by logging in with your own credentials. 4. The starting page can look different, according to choices you have made. The advantage is that you have an i<strong>mmediate access to full texts<\/strong> of articles. The search covers all the text, including the full text.
