Suuntaus ja siihen liittyv\u00e4 avoin toimintakulttuuri ovat tulleet eneneviss\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4rin osaksi yliopistojen toimintakulttuuria aikana, jolloin digitaalinen teknologia on tuonut uudenlaisia mahdollisuuksia tutkimuksen ja avoimen oppimisen lis\u00e4\u00e4miseen. Muiden opettajien tekemi\u00e4 tuotoksia voidaan hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 omassa toiminnassa, ja vastavuoroisesti omia tuotoksia voidaan jakaa muiden hy\u00f6dynnett\u00e4viksi. N\u00e4in voidaan sek\u00e4 edist\u00e4\u00e4 yhteist\u00e4 tiet\u00e4myst\u00e4 ett\u00e4 tuoda eri toimijoiden asiantuntijuutta n\u00e4kyville niin, ettei jokaisen opettajan tarvitse keksi\u00e4 py\u00f6r\u00e4\u00e4 uudelleen oppimateriaaleja valitessaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avoimen oppimisen ytimess\u00e4 ovat avoimet oppimateriaalit. Avoimilla materiaaleilla on useita merkitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 hy\u00f6tyj\u00e4, jotka tukevat sek\u00e4 yksil\u00f6n oppimista ett\u00e4 koko koulutusj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n kehitt\u00e4mist\u00e4. Ne edist\u00e4v\u00e4t saavutettavuutta ja tasa-arvoa tarjoamalla kaikille mahdollisuuden oppia riippumatta taustasta, sijainnista tai taloudellisesta asemasta, tukien samalla elinik\u00e4ist\u00e4 oppimista ja mahdollistaen osaamisen p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4misen joustavasti. Parhaimmillaan avoimet materiaalit ja niiden laaja hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4minen parantavat opetuksen laatua ja monipuolistavat pedagogisia k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4, kun opettajat voivat hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 ja muokata toistensa tuotoksia sek\u00e4 vastavuoroisesti jakaa omia tuotoksiaan muiden hy\u00f6dynnett\u00e4viksi. N\u00e4in avointen oppimateriaalien parissa tapahtuva toiminta my\u00f6s edist\u00e4\u00e4 yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 ja tiedon jakamista oppilaitosten, opettajien ja opiskelijoiden v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi avoimet oppimateriaalit tukevat avointa tiedett\u00e4 ja l\u00e4pin\u00e4kyvyytt\u00e4, kun tutkimustieto ja oppisis\u00e4ll\u00f6t ovat vapaasti saatavilla. Helposti l\u00f6ydett\u00e4v\u00e4t avoimet oppimateriaalit my\u00f6s v\u00e4hent\u00e4v\u00e4t yksitt\u00e4isten oppilaitosten ja opettajien oppimateriaalikustannuksia sek\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4llekk\u00e4ist\u00e4 ty\u00f6t\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tarve alustalle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Olennaista avointen oppimateriaalien tuottamiselle ja jakamiselle on tietenkin se, ett\u00e4 n\u00e4ille materiaaleille pit\u00e4isi olla yhteinen ja mielell\u00e4\u00e4n helppok\u00e4ytt\u00f6inen alusta. Yliopistolla on k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n monenlaisia teknisi\u00e4 ratkaisuja oppimateriaalien tuottamiseen, julkaisemiseen sek\u00e4 yll\u00e4pit\u00e4miseen, mutta yhteist\u00e4, kaikki tarpeet kattavaa ratkaisua ei kuitenkaan ole. Monet UEFissa tuotetuista avoimista materiaaleista sijaitsevat hajanaisesti eri sivustoilla ja j\u00e4rjestelmiss\u00e4, joten materiaalien l\u00f6yt\u00e4minen ja tehokas hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4minen j\u00e4\u00e4 monesti puutteelliseksi. Materiaalit olisi hyv\u00e4 saada koottua yhteen helposti l\u00e4hestytt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n paikkaan, jotta turha p\u00e4\u00e4llekk\u00e4inen ty\u00f6 saataisiin mahdollisimman minimiin. Niinp\u00e4 haaveissa onkin pitk\u00e4\u00e4n ollut oma avointen oppimateriaalien alusta, joka mahdollistaisi tuottamisen, ker\u00e4\u00e4misen, s\u00e4ilytt\u00e4misen ja tietenkin k\u00e4yt\u00f6n mahdollisimman yksinkertaisesti. Jokunen tovi sitten edettiin siihen vaiheeseen, ett\u00e4 alustavia vaatimusm\u00e4\u00e4rittelyit\u00e4 alettiin l\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n vaihtoehtoisille palveluntarjoajille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vaatimusm\u00e4\u00e4rittelyn mukaisesti avointen oppimateriaalien alustan tulisi olla n\u00e4yteikkuna UEFin tuottamiin avoimiin oppimateriaaleihin mahdollisimman suurelle k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4kunnalle. Alusta mahdollistaisi UEFin erityyppisten ja -muotoisten oppimateriaalien \u2013 verkkokursseista mikro-oppimiskokonaisuuksiin \u2013 kokoamisen yhteen paikkaan. UEFin henkil\u00f6st\u00f6 voisi tuottaa ja jakaa oppimateriaaleja alustalla, josta kuka tahansa loppuk\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4 voisi hakea UEFin avoimia oppimateriaaleja ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 niit\u00e4 tutkinto- tai itseopiskeluun. Alustalta loppuk\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4 n\u00e4kisi koko UEFin avoimen oppimateriaalin tarjonnan. Alustan tulisi olla houkutteleva ja kutsuva oppimisen tila, jonne on helppo tulla ja jossa viihdyt\u00e4\u00e4n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saimme testattavaksemme er\u00e4\u00e4n eurooppalaisen toimittajan Moodle Workplace -alustaratkaisun, joka mahdollistaisi useiden eri aliymp\u00e4rist\u00f6jen luomisen j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4n, jonka perustoiminnot ovat monelle tuttuja jo entuudestaan. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 ratkaisussa avointen oppimateriaalien alusta olisi siis yksi n\u00e4ist\u00e4 aliymp\u00e4rist\u00f6-Moodleista, joihin kuuluisivat mahdollisesti my\u00f6s yliopistolla jo k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 olevan kaltainen eLearn Moodle, henkil\u00f6st\u00f6koulutuksen alusta, uusi alusta MOOC-kursseille sek\u00e4 tarpeen tullen muita aliymp\u00e4rist\u00f6j\u00e4. Keskeisimp\u00e4n\u00e4 testattavana ominaisuutena oli nimenomaisesti avoimuus, sill\u00e4 avoimiin materiaaleihin pit\u00e4\u00e4 olla p\u00e4\u00e4sy mist\u00e4 tahansa ilman kirjautumista, kun taas muut oppimateriaalit tulisi yh\u00e4 pit\u00e4\u00e4 UEF-tunnuksien takana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pilotointi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Moodle Workplace -alustaa esiteltiin yliopiston eri palveluille kes\u00e4ll\u00e4 2025, ja laajempi testailu alkoi Digipalveluiden johdolla elokuussa. Kirjaston rooli alustan testailussa koski erityisesti avointen oppimateriaalien aliymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00e4. Tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, soveltuvatko t\u00e4m\u00e4n muokatun Moodle-ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n ominaisuudet yliopiston avointen oppimateriaalien keskitetyksi tuottamisen ja s\u00e4ilytt\u00e4misen ratkaisuksi. Toimiiko alusta avointen oppimateriaalien tuottamiseen ja onnistuuko materiaalien k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 oppimiseen ilman kirjautumista? Kirjaston selvitysryhm\u00e4n lis\u00e4ksi mukaan pyydettiin my\u00f6s muutamaa avoimia oppimateriaaleja tuottanutta opettajaa. Sek\u00e4 kirjastolaisilla ett\u00e4 opetushenkil\u00f6kunnan testaajilla oli k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n heille osoitetut testitunnukset, mitk\u00e4 mahdollistivat materiaalien luomisen alustalla sek\u00e4 niiden muokkailun ja muun testailun. Testipalautetta varten laadittiin lomake, jossa kyseltiin sek\u00e4 yksinkertaisia k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kokemuksia ett\u00e4 laajempaa kirjallista palautetta alustan ominaisuuksista ja niiden riitt\u00e4vyydest\u00e4 avointen oppimateriaalien n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digipalveluiden aloittama PoC (Proof of Concept) -testaus kesti syyskuun loppuun asti. Mukaan pyydetyill\u00e4 opettajilla testiaikaa oli noin kuukausi, jota ennen ja jonka j\u00e4lkeen pidettiin yhteiset palaverit testailun tavoitteista, luonteesta, ja viimeisen\u00e4 k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kokemuksista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kokemukset<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tulokset olivat kirjavia. Moodle-pohjainen alusta koettiin l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohtaisesti toimivaksi ratkaisuksi oppimateriaalien tarpeelle. Yliopistolla onkin jo pitk\u00e4\u00e4n ollut k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 eLearn Moodle ns. perinteisten opintojaksojen oppimateriaaleja varten, mik\u00e4 my\u00f6s madaltaa oppimiskynnyst\u00e4 uuden alustan osalta. Testiopettajamme totesivat alustalta l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4n riitt\u00e4v\u00e4t ty\u00f6kalut oppimateriaalien tuottamiseen ja alustan tarjoavan mahdollisuuden monipuolisten materiaalien tuomiseen. Helppok\u00e4ytt\u00f6isyys ja H5P-ominaisuuksien kirjo saivat kehuja sek\u00e4 opettajapalautteessa ett\u00e4 my\u00f6s kirjaston testaajilta, joskin joitain r\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4l\u00f6ityj\u00e4 ominaisuuksia tulisi viel\u00e4 hankkia, jotta p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4isiin nykyisen eLearn Moodlen kanssa samalle tasolle. K\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ss\u00e4 n\u00e4m\u00e4 olisivat kuitenkin helpohkoja toteuttaa. Kaiken kaikkiaan ratkaisun merkitt\u00e4vimpi\u00e4 etuja olisi nimenomaan yhten\u00e4isyys jo olemassa olevan alustan kanssa, sill\u00e4 tuttuus on omiaan houkuttelemaan oppimateriaalien tuottajia my\u00f6s avointen materiaalien tuottajiksi. My\u00f6s opiskelijapalautteessa on paikoin noussut esille h\u00e4mmennys useiden eri alustojen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6tarkoituksia kohtaan, joten avointen oppimateriaalien tuominen Moodle-ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00f6n voisi suoraviivaistaa yliopiston tarjontaa t\u00e4lt\u00e4 osin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alustan ja tuotettavien oppimateriaalien visuaalisesta ilmeest\u00e4 k\u00e4ytiin my\u00f6s keskustelua etenkin kirjaston sis\u00e4isen testausporukan kesken. Palautelomakkeella t\u00e4m\u00e4 yhdistyi materiaalien tuottamisen vapauteen sek\u00e4 yleisemmin mielekkyyteen, joskin tosiasiassa k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4mme ollut testialusta rajoitti mahdollisuuksiamme kokeilla erilaisia teemoja ja muuta visuaalista r\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4l\u00f6inti\u00e4. Toimittajan kanssa keskustellessa nousi kuitenkin vahva n\u00e4kym\u00e4 siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 varsinaisessa hankintavaiheessa visuaalisuuteen voi vaikuttaa voimakkaastikin, ja k\u00e4ytetyt esimerkit her\u00e4ttiv\u00e4t toiveita hyvinkin UEFin n\u00e4k\u00f6isest\u00e4 j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4st\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isommaksi keskustelunaiheeksi testailun aikana nousi avoimuudelle olennainen hakukonel\u00f6ydett\u00e4vyys. Avointen oppimateriaalien koko tarkoitusper\u00e4 kytkeytyy niiden yhteisk\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n, mit\u00e4 ennen ne pit\u00e4\u00e4 tietenkin saattaa mahdollisimman laajan yleis\u00f6n k\u00e4ytett\u00e4viksi. Tarkoitusta varten helppo l\u00f6ydett\u00e4vyys yleisimmill\u00e4 hakukoneilla sek\u00e4 yh\u00e4 laajenevassa m\u00e4\u00e4rin teko\u00e4lyty\u00f6kaluilla on pitk\u00e4lti v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4t\u00f6nt\u00e4. Valitettavasti t\u00e4t\u00e4 ominaisuutta ei ole n\u00e4ill\u00e4 n\u00e4kymin toteutettavissa Moodle-pohjaisessa ratkaisussa ilman kokonaan irrallista j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4, ja siin\u00e4kin vaiheessa toteutus j\u00e4tt\u00e4isi toivomisen varaa. Kyseist\u00e4 puutetta korostettiin sen verran selv\u00e4sti kirjaston organisoimassa testauksessa, ettei sit\u00e4 voi oikein ohittaakaan. T\u00e4m\u00e4 on sin\u00e4ns\u00e4 harmillista, sill\u00e4 monessa muussa mieless\u00e4 j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4 kattaisi hyvin yliopiston tarpeet. Ainakin v\u00e4liaikaisena laastarina asiassa auttaa toki se, ett\u00e4 yliopistolla on k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 my\u00f6s WordPress-alusta, jolla voidaan tuottaa helposti l\u00f6ydett\u00e4v\u00e4ksi asetettavia oppimateriaaleja. Meneill\u00e4\u00e4n oleva tarjouspyynt\u00f6prosessi sek\u00e4 etenev\u00e4t hankintakuviot antavat varmaan vastauksen siihen, voidaanko molempia j\u00e4rjestelmi\u00e4 s\u00e4ilytt\u00e4\u00e4 samaa tarkoitusta varten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avoimen alustan seuraavat askeleet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Testausjakson p\u00e4\u00e4tytty\u00e4 syyskuun lopulla j\u00e4imme kokoamaan ajatuksiamme sek\u00e4 k\u00e4sittelem\u00e4\u00e4n ker\u00e4tty\u00e4 palautetta. Kokemuksia on koostettu monenlaisiin esityksiin ja tietoa on jaettu yksik\u00f6iden v\u00e4lill\u00e4 koulutuksen johdolle asti. Vaikka hankinnasta ei ole varmuutta viel\u00e4 t\u00e4ss\u00e4 vaiheessa, her\u00e4tti Moodle Workplace kokonaisratkaisuna riitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti kiinnostusta v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4nkin tarjouspyynn\u00f6n laatimiseen. Kokemusta rikkaampana voimme paremmin arvioida hankinnan merkitt\u00e4vyytt\u00e4 ja erityisesti niit\u00e4 ominaisuuksia, joita oikeasti tarvitsemme. Screenshot:<\/bdo> Niko Niskanen.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Open education is a trend aimed at expanding access to and participation in learning for everyone by lowering barriers and increasing accessibility, inclusion, provision, and centring more around learners. This movement and the open operating culture associated with it have become an increasing part of universities\u2019 organisational culture at a time when digital technology continues to bring new opportunities for the enhancing of research and open learning. Teachers can utilise materials produced by other teachers in their own work, and conversely, one\u2019s own outputs can be shared for the use of others. In this way, it is possible to both promote shared knowledge and to highlight the expertise of different actors, so that each teacher does not have to reinvent the wheel when choosing learning materials.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">At the core of open education are open educational resources. Open resources offer several significant benefits that support both individual learning and the development of the entire education system. They promote accessibility and equality by offering everyone the opportunity to learn regardless of background, location, or financial situation, while supporting lifelong learning and enabling professionals to continue updating their skills. At their best, open materials and their broad use improve the quality of teaching and diversify pedagogical practices, as teachers can make use of and adapt each other\u2019s materials and, in turn, share their own materials for others to use. In this way, activities involving open educational resources also promote cooperation and knowledge sharing between institutions, teachers and students. In addition, open educational resources support open science and transparency when research findings and learning content are freely available. Easily discoverable open educational resources also reduce learning material costs and help avoid overlapping work for individual institutions and teachers.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The need for a platform<\/bdo><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A key aspect for producing and sharing open educational resources is, of course, the requirement for a shared and preferably easy-to-use platform for the resources. The university has a variety of technical solutions in use for producing, publishing, and maintaining learning materials, but currently there is no single solution for all these needs. Many of the open materials produced at UEF are spread across different sites and systems, so finding and effectively using the materials is often difficult. It would be useful to bring the materials together in one approachable platform in order to minimise unnecessary overlapping work. For this reason, a dedicated platform for open educational resources has long been on the wish list \u2013 a platform that would enable the production, collection, preservation, and, of course, use of resources as straightforwardly as possible. Some time ago, progress was made to the stage where preliminary functional requirements were sent out to various service providers.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">According to these requirements, the platform for open educational resources should serve as a showcase for open educational materials produced at UEF for the widest possible user base. The platform would allow the collection of various types and formats of UEF educational resources, from online courses to micro-learning modules, in one place. UEF staff could produce and share educational resources on the platform, from which any end user could search for and use the university\u2019s open educational resources for degree or self-study. The platform would display the entire range of UEF\u2019s open educational resources. The platform should be an attractive and inviting learning space that is easy to access and enjoyable to use.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We were given the opportunity to test a Moodle Workplace solution provided by a European service provider, which would make it possible to create several different sub-environments within a system whose basic functionalities are already familiar to many. In this solution, the platform for open educational resources would be one of these subsidiary Moodle environments. These environments might also include a system similar to the eLearn Moodle already in use at the university, a platform for staff training, a new platform for MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), and, if needed, other sub-environments. A single traditional Moodle platform would not be sufficient, because the needs related to open educational resources (and the other above-mentioned options) differ considerably from those of traditional closed learning resources. The central feature to be tested was openness itself, as open materials must be accessible from anywhere without specific credentials \/ login, whereas other learning materials should continue to remain behind UEF credentials.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Testing<\/bdo><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Moodle Workplace platform was presented to various university services in the summer of 2025, and broader testing, led by UEF Digital Services, began in August. The library\u2019s role in testing the platform focused particularly on the sub-environment for open educational resources. The aim was to determine whether the features of this customised Moodle environment would be suitable as a central solution for the production and preservation of the university\u2019s open educational resources. Does the platform work for producing open educational resources, and can the materials be used for learning without logging in? In addition to the library\u2019s testing team, a few teachers with experience in producing open educational resources were also invited to join. Both the library staff and the teachers were assigned with test accounts, which enabled them to create, edit, and otherwise experiment with resources on the platform. A feedback form was prepared, asking for both basic user experiences and more extensive written feedback on the platform\u2019s features and their adequacy from the perspective of open educational resources.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Proof of Concept (PoC) testing launched by Digital Services lasted until the end of September. The teachers that were invited to participate had about a month for their testing, before and after which the objectives, the nature of the testing, and user experiences were discussed in join meetings.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Experiences<\/bdo><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The results were certainly mixed. Overall, the Moodle-based platform was perceived as a workable solution for the needs of educational resources. The university has used eLearn Moodle for a long time for educational materials used on traditional courses, which lowers the threshold for adopting this new Moodle solution. Our test teachers found that the platform offers sufficient tools for producing learning resources and provides an opportunity to bring in a diverse range of materials. Ease of use and the variety of H5P features received praise both in teacher feedback and from the library\u2019s testers, although some customised features would still need to be acquired before reaching the same level of customisation as the current eLearn Moodle. In practice, these should be relatively easy to implement. Overall, one of the most significant advantages of the solution would be its consistency with the pre-existing platform, as familiarity with its functions would likely encourage the producers of educational resources to also produce open resources. Student feedback has also at times highlighted confusion regarding the purpose of the several different platforms currently used at UEF, so collecting open educational resources into a familiar Moodle environment could streamline the university\u2019s offering in this respect.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The visual appearance of the platform and the materials produced on it was also discussed, especially within the library\u2019s internal testing group. On the feedback form, visual features were linked to the freedom of resource-producing and more generally to how engaging the environment feels, although in practice the testing platform we had access to limited our ability to experiment with different themes and extensive visual customisation. However, in discussions with the service provider, a strong indication emerged that it would be possible to influence the visual aspects quite extensively in the later procurement phase, and the examples we were presented with raised hopes for a system that would look very much like UEF.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A greater topic of discussion during the testing was search engine discoverability, which is just about essential for openness. The whole purpose of open educational resources is linked to their shared use, and before that, of course, their availability to as broad an audience as possible. For this purpose, easy discoverability via common search engines and, increasingly, through AI tools is largely indispensable. Unfortunately, this feature does not appear to be implementable in a Moodle-based solution without a completely separate system, and even then, the implementation would leave much to be desired. This shortcoming was emphasised so clearly in the testing organised by the library that it cannot really be overlooked. This is somewhat unfortunate, because in many other respects the system would meet the university\u2019s needs well. Fortunately, at least for now, the university also has the WordPress platform available for the producing of educational resources that can be made easily discoverable. The ongoing tendering process and the later progression of procurement arrangements will likely provide answers as to whether both systems can be maintained in use for these similar purposes.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Next steps for the open platform<\/bdo><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">After the conclusion of the testing period at the end of September, we were left to gather our thoughts and process the feedback we collected. Our experiences have been compiled into various presentations and information has been shared between units all the way up to the education management. Although there is no certainty about the procurement at this stage, Moodle Workplace as an overall solution generated sufficient interest to warrant the preparation of an invitation to tender. With this experience, we are in a better position to assess the significance of the procurement and the features that we truly require.
