Kirjaston kokoelmaohjelmaa on p\u00e4ivitetty. Mit\u00e4 se tarkoittaa, mik\u00e4 kokoelmaohjelma on, ja mik\u00e4 merkitys sill\u00e4 on asiakkaalle. Ohessa lyhyesti keskeiset askelmerkit. Tiiviin ohjelman p\u00e4\u00e4set lukemaan kokonaisuudessaan kotisivuiltamme<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miksi kokoelmaohjelma:<\/strong> Kirjastolle on yliopistossa m\u00e4\u00e4ritelty tiettyj\u00e4 teht\u00e4vi\u00e4. Yhten\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 on hankkia, tallettaa ja asettaa k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n ajanmukaisia ja yliopiston tarpeisiin sopivia tietoaineistoja. Kokoelmaohjelmassa linjaamme ne aineistoty\u00f6n periaatteet, jotka tukevat t\u00e4m\u00e4n teht\u00e4v\u00e4n toteutumista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miten hankinnoista p\u00e4\u00e4tet\u00e4\u00e4n:<\/strong> Yhteisty\u00f6 oppiaineiden ja kaikkien asiakkaidemme kanssa on keskeist\u00e4, sill\u00e4 aineistot hankitaan meille tulleiden esitysten pohjalta. Kirjastona meill\u00e4 on kuitenkin viime k\u00e4dess\u00e4 vastuu siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 eri tieteenalojen kokoelmia kehitet\u00e4\u00e4n tasapuolisesti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miss\u00e4 formaatissa:<\/strong> Hankimme aineiston elektronisena aina kun se on mahdollista. Verkkoaineistot parantavat tiedon saavutettavuutta. Yksitt\u00e4isi\u00e4 painettuja kirjoja ei tarvitse en\u00e4\u00e4 jonottaa, ja varsinkin kurssikirjat ovat nykyisin huomattavasti paremmin saatavissa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miten avoin tiede huomioidaan:<\/strong> Tuomme esille avointa tieteellist\u00e4 tutkimusta liitt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 verkossa olevia avoimia aineistoja kirjaston aineistotietokantaan. Pyrimme my\u00f6s edist\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n avointa tutkimusta tukemalla tahoja, jotka toimivat tieteellisen tiedon avoimuuden edist\u00e4miseksi ja lis\u00e4\u00e4miseksi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miten kokoelmia kehitet\u00e4\u00e4n: <\/strong>Teemme s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisesti m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llist\u00e4 ja laadullista arviointia varmistaaksemme, ett\u00e4 kokoelmat vastaavat asiakkaidemme tarpeita. Valtaosa uudesta hankittavasta aineistosta l\u00f6ytyy digitaalisena verkosta ja painetut kokoelmat pidet\u00e4\u00e4n opetuksen ja tutkimuksen kannalta tarkoituksenmukaisina. Tarpeettomaksi k\u00e4ynyt aineisto siirret\u00e4\u00e4n Varastokirjastoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The library\u2019s collection programme has been updated. What does it mean, what is the collection programme, and what significance does it have for the customer? Below are the key points to note. You can read the compact programme in full on our website<\/a>.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the collection programme for:<\/strong> The university has defined certain tasks for the library. One of these is to procure, store and make available up-to-date information resources that are appropriate to the needs of the university. In the collection programme, we set out the principles of collection work that support this mission.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How are procurements decided on:<\/strong> Cooperation with the disciplines and all our customers is essential as the materials are acquired on the basis of the propositions we receive. However, as a library, we ultimately have the responsibility to ensure that collections from different disciplines are developed equitably.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In what format:<\/strong> The library procures the resources in electronic format wherever possible. Online resources improve the accessibility of information. There is no longer a queue for printed books, and course books in particular are now much more readily available.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How is open science considered:<\/strong> We promote open scientific research by linking online open access materials to the library’s resource database. We also aim to advance open research by supporting organisations that work to promote and increase the openness of scientific information.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How are the collections developed:<\/strong> The collections undergo quantitative and qualitative evaluation to ensure that they fulfil the needs of customers. Most of the new material to be procured is available in digital format online, and the printed collections will be maintained in appropriate form for teaching and research purposes. Material that is no longer needed will be transferred to the National Repository Library.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n
