Koronavuosien j\u00e4lkeen koimme t\u00e4rke\u00e4ksi kuulla k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jiemme toiveita ja tarpeita, sill\u00e4 saimme iloksemme huomata, kuinka kampuksille oli taas palattu sankoin joukoin. Palautetta voi j\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 <a href=\"https:\/\/link.webropolsurveys.com\/Participation\/Public\/4be17fe1-e838-4e55-9581-55b449c5f27d?displayId=Fin2052780&amp;surveyLocale=fi\">kotisivujemme kautta<\/a> jatkuvasti, mutta halusimme tuolloin erityisesti muistuttaa t\u00e4st\u00e4 mahdollisuudesta. Se kannatti: saimme v\u00e4lill\u00e4 10.10.\u20134.11.2022 yhteens\u00e4 34 palautetta eli mukavasti normaalia enemm\u00e4n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saimme palautetta erityisesti ty\u00f6rauhasta ja muiden huomioimisesta, kiinteist\u00f6tekniikasta ja -huollosta, ergonomiasta sek\u00e4 asiakaspalvelustamme. Palautteita ropisi sek\u00e4 koko kirjastolle ett\u00e4 erikseen molemmille kampuksille \u2013 suurin osa koski kuitenkin Joensuun kampuskirjastoa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selke\u00e4sti eniten palautetta kirvoitti ty\u00f6rauhan tarve Joensuussa: tiloissamme on liikaa \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4, ja se vaikeuttaa opiskelua. Useat teist\u00e4 pyysiv\u00e4t toiset huomioivaa k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 \u00e4\u00e4nenk\u00e4yt\u00f6n lis\u00e4ksi my\u00f6s siisteydess\u00e4 ja tietokonealueilla toimimisessa. On hienoa, ett\u00e4 tietokoneet ovat kovassa k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4, mutta v\u00e4lill\u00e4 k\u00e4y niinkin, ett\u00e4 niille varatuilla ty\u00f6pisteill\u00e4 k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4nkin vain omia laitteita. Muita ty\u00f6pisteit\u00e4 omien laitteiden k\u00e4ytt\u00e4miselle kirjastossa riitt\u00e4\u00e4, joten on harmillista, jos toinen asiakas ei p\u00e4\u00e4se k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n tietokonetta t\u00e4m\u00e4n vuoksi. Palautteista k\u00e4vi lis\u00e4ksi ilmi, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6pistett\u00e4 ei aina muisteta j\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 siistiin kuntoon seuraavaa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4\u00e4 varten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ty\u00f6rauhan edist\u00e4miseksi Joensuun kampuskirjasto alkoi viime syksyn\u00e4 ty\u00f6st\u00e4\u00e4 \u00c4\u00e4nivy\u00f6hykkeit\u00e4 ja niihin liittyvi\u00e4 opasteita. Olemme ottaneet vy\u00f6hykkeet nyt k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n ja uudistaneet opasteet, joten toivomme niist\u00e4 <a href=\"https:\/\/link.webropolsurveys.com\/Participation\/Public\/4be17fe1-e838-4e55-9581-55b449c5f27d?displayId=Fin2052780&amp;surveyLocale=fi\">palautetta<\/a>. \u00c4\u00e4nivy\u00f6hykekartan ja uudistetut kerrosopasteet l\u00f6yd\u00e4t Joensuun kampuskirjaston jokaisesta kerroksesta portaiden l\u00e4hettyvilt\u00e4, ja lis\u00e4tietoja <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uef.fi\/fi\/artikkeli\/uutta-joensuun-kampuskirjastossa-aanivyohykkeet-ja-hiljentymishuone\">tiedotteestamme<\/a>. Kuopion kampuskirjaston osalta ty\u00f6rauha on s\u00e4ilynyt kohtalaisen hyv\u00e4n\u00e4, joten katsomme nykyisten opasteiden riitt\u00e4v\u00e4n siell\u00e4 toistaiseksi. Meilt\u00e4 toivottiin lis\u00e4\u00e4 istumapaikkoja ja opiskelutilaa sek\u00e4 ryhm\u00e4ty\u00f6tiloja. My\u00f6s kalusteiden ergonomia ja tilojen valaistus j\u00e4ttiv\u00e4t toivomisen varaa. Kirjaston jatkuva remontointi sai ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4v\u00e4sti kritiikki\u00e4, mutta toisaalta palautteissa nousi esiin my\u00f6s toive kirjaston remontoimisesta nykyaikaisemmaksi. Remonttien tarpeeseen emme voi vaikuttaa, mutta tiedotamme niist\u00e4 jatkossakin parhaamme mukaan, jotta jokaisella on mahdollisuus varautua niihin kirjastoa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ess\u00e4\u00e4n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Osa saamastamme palautteesta koski Carelia-rakennuksen talotekniikkaa, kuten sis\u00e4ilmaa, josta saimme sek\u00e4 kielteist\u00e4 ett\u00e4 my\u00f6nteist\u00e4 palautetta. Erityisesti tietokonealueelle toivottiin parempaa ilmanvaihtoa ja matalampaa l\u00e4mp\u00f6tilaa. Viihtyisyyteen liittyy my\u00f6s palaute tilojen siisteydest\u00e4 ja siivouksesta, josta olemmekin olleet yhteydess\u00e4 toimitilapalveluihin. Joensuun tiloista kiitosta niitti ihana Olola, Kuopiossa taas remontissa uudistuneet tilat koettiin toimiviksi ja viihtyisiksi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puutteena palautteista nousi esille tarve v\u00e4lipala-automaatille, kahvinkeittimelle, vesipullojen t\u00e4ytt\u00f6pisteelle tai jopa keitti\u00f6nurkkaukselle. My\u00f6s t\u00e4t\u00e4 viesti\u00e4 olemme vieneet eteenp\u00e4in: mahdollisuutta v\u00e4lipala-automaattiin on selvitelty, mutta toimivaa ratkaisua ei ole viel\u00e4 l\u00f6ytynyt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muutamat palautteista koskivat tietotekniikkaa. Joensuun kampuskirjastossa tietokonealue on usein t\u00e4ysi, eik\u00e4 koneita riit\u00e4 kaikille. Lis\u00e4ksi wifin kerrottiin toimivan huonosti. Digipalvelut ovatkin sittemmin kartoittaneet wifin tilannetta. Valitettavasti he eiv\u00e4t l\u00f6yt\u00e4neet wifin parantamiseksi pikaratkaisua, mutta ottivat asian ty\u00f6listalleen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kirjaston henkil\u00f6kunnalle annoitte kiitosta avuliaisuudesta ja erinomaisesta palvelusta. Mukavalta tuntui my\u00f6s seuraava palaute: \u201dPalvelu ja yhteisty\u00f6 monessa oppimisen asiassa on hyv\u00e4\u00e4 ja joustavaa. Apua olen aina saanut. Eritt\u00e4in yst\u00e4v\u00e4llinen ja asiallinen palvelu, joka on merkityksellist\u00e4 oppijalle, joka vasta monia asioita on sis\u00e4ist\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aloitimme palautteen k\u00e4sittelyn kirjaston omassa kehitt\u00e4misp\u00e4iv\u00e4ss\u00e4 heti marraskuun lopussa. Palautteista on keskusteltu kirjaston kahdenkeskisiss\u00e4 palavereissa ISYYn ja toimitilapalveluiden kanssa, ja olemme toimittaneet eteenp\u00e4in my\u00f6s Opparin vastuualueen palautteet. Olemme useaan otteeseen todenneet, ett\u00e4 saatu palaute on kullanarvoista. After the COVID-19 years, we felt it was important to hear the wishes and needs of our users, as we were pleased to see how many of you had returned to campuses. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/link.webropolsurveys.com\/Participation\/Public\/4be17fe1-e838-4e55-9581-55b449c5f27d?displayId=Fin2052780&amp;surveyLocale=en\">feedback form<\/a> on our website is available continuously, but we wanted to remind you of this possibility at the time. It was worth it: during 10.10.\u20134.11.2022 we received a total of 34 feedback, i.e., plenty more than normal.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We received feedback especially on noise and general consideration of others, facility management and maintenance, ergonomics and our customer service. The feedback was directed to the library as a whole and to both campuses separately \u2013 most of it was about the Joensuu Campus Library.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The need for peace of work in Joensuu was clearly the most frequently occurring response: there is too much noise in the library, and it makes studying difficult. Many of you asked others to observe not only the use of voice but also the cleanness and working on computer areas. It is great that the computers are being used but instead of them people occasionally use their own devices on the workstations. That unfortunately prevents others from accessing the computers. The feedback also showed that the workstations are not always left in clean condition for the next user.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">To promote peace of work, the Joensuu Campus Library started working on Sound zones and better signs last autumn. We have now introduced the zones and renewed the signs, so please <a href=\"https:\/\/link.webropolsurveys.com\/Participation\/Public\/4be17fe1-e838-4e55-9581-55b449c5f27d?displayId=Fin2052780&amp;surveyLocale=en\">give us feedback<\/a> on them. The sound zone map and other renewed signs are available on every floor of the Joensuu Campus Library, and more information is available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uef.fi\/en\/article\/joensuu-campus-library-introduces-sound-zones-and-a-new-reflection-room-for-customers\">our website<\/a>. When it comes to the Kuopio Campus Library, the peace of work has remained relatively good, so we consider the current signs to be sufficient for the time being. We were asked to have more seats and study space, as well as group work facilities. The ergonomics of furniture and the lighting of the premises also left much to be desired. The constant renovation of the library was understandably criticized, but on the other hand, the feedback also brought up the need for a more modernization of the library. The need for renovations is not in our hands but the least we can do is to keep you informed about them to the best of our ability.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Some of the feedback we received concerned the building technology of the Carelia building. For example, indoor air got us both negative and positive feedback. Better ventilation and lower temperature were hoped for the computer area. We also got feedback on the cleanliness and cleaning of the premises, from which we have been in contact with the Facilities Management. The lovely Olola in Joensuu got its fair share of praises, while the new premises in Kuopio were considered to be functional and comfortable.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The feedback highlighted the need for a snack machine, a coffee maker, a water bottle filling point or even a kitchenette. The possibility of a snack machine has been explored, but no workable solution has yet been found.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Some of the feedback was about the information technology. The computer area in the Joensuu Campus Library is often occupied, and there is not enough room for everyone. Also, the Wi-Fi was told to be operating badly. The Digital Services have since looked into the situation. Unfortunately, they did not find a quick solution to improve the Wi-Fi, but they will investigate it further.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">You thanked us, the library staff, for our helpfulness and excellent service. The following feedback felt heartwarming: \u201cCustomer service in many areas of learning is good and flexible. I have always had help. Very friendly customer service that is relevant to a person who has just started learning many things.\u201d<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We started processing feedback in the library&#8217;s own development day right at the end of November. The feedback has been discussed in the library&#8217;s bilateral meetings with ISYY and the Facilities Management, and we have also forwarded feedback about Oppari&#8217;s area of responsibility. It has been said on several occasions that the feedback received is golden!
