Kaikki yliopistot, ammattikorkeakoulut ja tutkimuslaitokset ovat ilmaisseet tukensa. Nyt mahdollisuus julistuksen allekirjoittamiseen on avoinna kaikille tutkimusyhteis\u00f6n j\u00e4senille. It\u00e4-Suomen yliopisto on allekirjoittanut julistuksen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DMP arviointi ja uudistunut UEF DMP prosessi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kansallinen DMP-arviointiohje on <a href=\"http:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.4729832\">julkaistu Zenodossa<\/a>. Jatkossa ohjetta tullaan p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n samalla vuotuisella p\u00e4ivityskierroksella, kun p\u00e4ivitet\u00e4\u00e4n kansallista DMP-ohjetta. UEF-datatuki soveltaa t\u00e4t\u00e4 ohjetta kommentoidessaan UEF tutkijoiden aineistonhallintasuunnitelmia. Suomen Akatemian hankkeiden aineistonhallintasuunnitelmat tulee l\u00e4hett\u00e4\u00e4 datatuen (datasupport@uef.fi) kommentoitavaksi ennen rahoittajalle l\u00e4hett\u00e4mist\u00e4. Lue lis\u00e4\u00e4 t\u00e4st\u00e4 uudesta <a href=\"https:\/\/studentuef.sharepoint.com\/sites\/heimo_fi\/palvelut\/Suomen-Akatemia\/Sivut\/Avoin-tiede-ja-aineistonhallintasuunnitelma.aspx\">k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6st\u00e4 .<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tutkimusdatan avoimen saatavuuden osalinjaus julkaistu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tutkimusaineistojen ja -menetelmien avoimuuden ensimm\u00e4inen<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/avointiede.fi\/fi\/ajankohtaista\/tutkimusdatan-avoimen-saatavuuden-osalinjaus-julkaistu\">osalinjaus<\/a> julkaistiin Avoimen tieteen kev\u00e4tp\u00e4ivill\u00e4 2021. Osalinjaus tutkimusdatan avoimesta saatavuudesta on suomalaisen tutkimusyhteis\u00f6n yhteinen suunnann\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4, joka m\u00e4\u00e4rittelee tavoitteet ja periaatteet datan avoimen saatavuuden tavoittelulle. Osalinjauksen yhteydess\u00e4 hyv\u00e4ksyttiin my\u00f6s kokonaislinjauksen johdanto ja kolme periaatetta. Kommentointi on avoinna koko tutkimusyhteis\u00f6lle, ja kommentteja voi j\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 joko organisaationa tai henkil\u00f6kohtaisesti. All universities, universities of applied science and research institutes have expressed their support. Now, the option to sign the declaration is open to all members of the Finnish research community. The University of Eastern Finland has signed the declaration.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">DMP evaluation and the renewed UEF DMP process<\/bdo><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The national DMP evaluation guide has been <a href=\"http:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.4729832\">published on Zenodo. <\/a>In the future, these guidelines will be updated during the national DMP instructions annual update process. UEF Data Support will apply these guidelines when commenting on the data management plans of UEF researchers. The data management plans of Academy of Finland projects must be sent in for Data Support\u2019s comments (datasupport@uef.fi) before sending them to the financier. Read more about the new <a href=\"https:\/\/studentuef.sharepoint.com\/sites\/heimo_en\/services\/Academy-of-Finland\/Pages\/home.aspx\">policy.<\/a><\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sub-policy for the open access to research data published<\/bdo><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The first <a href=\"https:\/\/avointiede.fi\/sites\/default\/files\/2021-05\/Open%20research%20data%20and%20methods%2C%20policy%20component%201.pdf\">sub-policy<\/a> of open access to research materials and methods was published at the Open Science Spring Conference 2021. This policy on open access to research data is a signpost for the entire Finnish research community, determining the objectives and principles for achieving open access to data. In connection to this sub-policy, the introduction to the overall policy, as well as three principles, were also approved. In 2022, the policy will be supplemented with a sub-policy pertaining to the openness of research methods.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Comment on the solution models for facilitating open access to Finnish scientific periodicals<\/bdo><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The solution models for facilitating open access to Finnish scientific periodicals are available for <a href=\"https:\/\/tsv.gruppo.fi\/online-applications\/index.php\/898686\/lang-en\">commenting <\/a>until 24 June 2021. The commenting is open to the entire scientific community, and both organisation representatives and individuals can leave comments. In the spirit of open science, all non-anonymous comments received will be collected and published on a shared platform.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Data management services \u2013 at what level do they need to be paid for?<\/bdo><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Services related to data management are offered at many different levels, but they are all connected by the need for continuity. \u201cHow can we secure an open and free infrastructure in Europe?\u201d asked the director of Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (Sparc Europe), Vanessa Proudman, in her address at the Open Science Spring Conference.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Open Finnish scientific journals promote research, learning and multilingual scientific communication<\/bdo><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Students are the largest user group of open Finnish scientific journals, but they are also widely read by other audiences. This was discovered in a <a href=\"https:\/\/tsv.fi\/fi\/uutiset\/kotimaiset-avoimet-tiedelehdet-edistavat-tutkimusta-oppimista-ja-monikielista\">study<\/a> (in Finnish) by Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV), which reviewed the viewer roles of scientific journals and articles published via the Journal.fi portal.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">EOSC Co-Creation project\u2019s final report on Zenodo<\/bdo><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The EOSC Co-Creation project, which began at the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) at the beginning of September 2020, reviewed the current status of information used to evaluate researches in comparison to FAIR data and, based on this review, it created a future vision of using FAIR data for evaluating researchers. The <a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/record\/4701375#.YKZ7ei1puhA\">final report<\/a> can be read on Zenedo.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Enrol in expert groups and work groups of Open Science<\/bdo><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A work group drafting the sub-policy of open access to research methods was established as a new working group during the Open Science Spring Conference 2021. Enrolling in the new work group, as well as other working groups continuing their work for the autumn term 2021, is now open and will remain open until 24 June 2021.
