Ensimm\u00e4isen\u00e4 kokonaisena k\u00e4ytt\u00f6vuotena 2020 UEF-Primossa tehtiin noin kaksi miljoonaa hakua, joten kokemuksia palvelusta on jo kertynyt ja kuultu. UEF-Primon toiminnasta on alusta saakka ker\u00e4tty palautetta sek\u00e4 kirjaston asiakkailta ett\u00e4 henkil\u00f6kunnalta. Ensimm\u00e4isen vuoden aikana UEF-Primoa koskevia palautteita kirjattiin noin tuhat. Palautteita k\u00e4sitell\u00e4\u00e4n s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisesti kokoontuvassa Primo-ty\u00f6ryhm\u00e4ss\u00e4, johon kuuluu edustajia kirjaston kaikista palveluista. Ty\u00f6ryhm\u00e4 pyrkii l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ratkaisun esille tulleisiin ongelmiin ja ep\u00e4kohtiin sek\u00e4 vastaamaan jokaiselle palautteenantajalle henkil\u00f6kohtaisesti, mik\u00e4li t\u00e4m\u00e4 oli j\u00e4tt\u00e4nyt yhteystietonsa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palautteiden ja kysymysten perusteella toimitetaan <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uef.fi\/ueflibrary\/uef-primo-usein-kysyttya\/\">UEF-Primo &#8211; Usein kysytty\u00e4<\/a> -blogisivua, jotta asiakkailla olisi mahdollisuus l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 vastaus tyypillisiin kysymyksiin mahdollisimman nopeasti ja helposti. Kirjoitukseen p\u00e4\u00e4tyy kysymyksi\u00e4 ja vastauksia esimerkiksi teknisiin ongelmiin, sis\u00e4\u00e4nkirjautumiseen sek\u00e4 aineistojen saatavuuteen ja lainaamiseen liittyvist\u00e4 asioista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saadun palautteen perusteella UEF-Primoa muokataan toimivampaan suuntaan harkinnan ja mahdollisuuksien mukaisesti. Jotkin parannusehdotukset p\u00e4\u00e4tyv\u00e4t toivelistalle. My\u00f6s j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n toimittaja ExLibris kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 Primo VE:t\u00e4 sek\u00e4 taustalla toimivaa Alma-kirjastoj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4 jatkuvasti. Kummastakin j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4st\u00e4 tulee kuukausittain uusi p\u00e4ivitysversio, mik\u00e4 toisinaan aiheuttaa yll\u00e4tyksi\u00e4 UEF-Primon r\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4l\u00f6inteihin. Joskus p\u00e4ivitys tuottaa hakupalveluun sellaisia uusia ominaisuuksia, jotka ennakkotestauksesta huolimatta eiv\u00e4t toimi oletetusti. T\u00e4ll\u00f6in kyseinen ominaisuus pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n j\u00e4tt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n kokonaan pois k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 tai siirt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n sen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoa siihen asti, kunnes se toimii halutulla tavalla. Useimmiten p\u00e4ivitykset kuitenkin tuovat maailmanlaajuisen Alma\/Primo-kirjastoyhteis\u00f6n toivomia parannuksia, jotka lis\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4t my\u00f6s UEF-Primon k\u00e4ytett\u00e4vyytt\u00e4 ja asiakasyst\u00e4v\u00e4llisyytt\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kansallisella tasolla Alma-kirjastot ovat tehneet yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 hankintaprojektin alusta alkaen ja t\u00e4m\u00e4 yhteisty\u00f6 jatkuu edelleen. Erityisesti kansallinen Primo-ryhm\u00e4 pyrkii jakamaan hakupalveluun liittyvi\u00e4 tietojaan, taitojaan ja k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kokemuksiaan. UEF-Primon kehitt\u00e4minen on siis edelleen jatkuva, aktiivinen prosessi. Asiakkaanamme voit halutessasi osallistua UEF-Primon kehitt\u00e4miseen esimerkiksi l\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 meille palautetta <a href=\"https:\/\/link.webropolsurveys.com\/S\/EC259C4AF5CC3D83\">palautelomakkeella<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uef.fi\/ueflibrary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/04\/UEF-Primo-palautten-kasittely-ja-UKK-2.png\" alt=\"UEF-Primosta saadun palautteen k\u00e4sittely kaaviona. Kun kirjasto saa asiakaspalautetta UEF-Primosta, asiakkaalle vastataan heti, jos mahdollista. Jos kysymys on uusi, vied\u00e4\u00e4n palaute Primo-ty\u00f6ryhm\u00e4n k\u00e4sittelyyn. UEF-Primoa muokataan saadun palautteen perusteella harkinnan ja mahdollisuuksien mukaan ja asiakkaan palautteeseen vastataan. During the first full year of use in 2020, around two million searches were made through UEF Primo, so we have gathered plenty of experience of the service. Since the beginning of introducing UEF Primo, feedback on the service has been collected both from the library customers and the personnel. Over the first year, we recorded about a thousand pieces of feedback related to UEF Primo. The feedback is processed in regular meetings of the Primo team, which comprises representatives from all library services. The work group aims to find a solution for any emerging issues and complaints and to answer all feedback givers personally, provided that they have left their contact information.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Based on feedback and questions, we update a UEF Primo \u2013 Frequently asked questions blog article, which allows our customers to find answers to the most common questions as quickly and easily as possible. This article features questions and answers related to issues such as technical problems, signing in and the availability and borrowing of materials.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Based on the feedback received, UEF Primo will be further developed as considered necessary and possible. Some improvement suggestions will be added to the list of requests. The system supplier ExLibris is also constantly developing Primo VE and its background library system, Alma. A new updated version is released for both systems every month, which sometimes causes surprises in the UEF Primo customizations. Sometimes, the update may add new functionalities to the search service which do not work as expected, despite advance testing. In such cases, the functionality is either removed from use or its introduction is postponed until it works as desired. Most of the time, however, the updates deliver improvements requested by the global Alma\/Primo library community, while also improving the usability and customer-orientation of UEF Primo.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><bdo lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On a national level, Alma libraries have worked together since the beginning of the acquisition project, and this cooperation is still going strong. The national Primo group, in particular, strives to share its information, know-how and user experiences of the search service. The development of UEF Primo is still a continuous, active process.
