Working in the future requires versatile language skills, understanding of intercultural communication and strong IT skills. The CUDIS project addresses these needs by training companies and students and graduates of humanities and computing in North Karelia.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>improves the cultural and digital skills of North Karelian companies creating competitive advantage.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supports employment by creating new skilled labour in the area.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>creates opportunities for international workforce in Eastern Finland.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improves academic education to meet the needs of working life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>identifies new skill needs for the future.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is carried out by interdisciplinary co-operation of the School of Humanities and School of Computing at the University of Eastern Finland. The project also partners with a variety of North Karelian companies and other actors in the labour market.\u00a0The project runs from 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2025. The project is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) as a part of the Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021\u20132027 programme.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find more information on the project on this website, including news, event information and blog posts on relevant topics.
